About Jason
For over 25 years, I’ve been walking with Christ, and the longer I follow Him, the more the gospel becomes the lens through which I see all of life. Like C.S. Lewis said, "I believe in Christianity not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."
I’m married to my wife, Bonnie (since 2009), and we’re raising three awesome kids.
I grew up in Moultrie, Georgia, and aside from 3 years away, I’ve spent most of my life in this state. I earned both my BA and MA in Teaching from Georgia College & State University and taught high school Spanish in Macon for a few years. During that season, Bonnie and I discerned a calling to Orlando, where I attended Reformed Theological Seminary. I completed an MA in Counseling and an MA in Biblical Studies — but more importantly, those years ignited a deep passion for relational and emotional health.
Through my own counseling journey, formative coursework, and the mentorship of wise professors and supervisors, God began a transformative work in my life that continues today. Those seeds grew into what I believe to be a lifelong calling: helping people experience healing and growth in their relationships, marriages, leadership, and emotional lives. I’ve become convinced that nothing determines the quality of our lives more than the quality of our relations.
I began practicing counseling as an intern in 2013 and have been practicing some form of counseling ever since. After several years of full-time clinical counseling at Sojourn Counseling Center in Warner Robins, I transitioned into full-time pastoral ministry, where counseling remains a central part of my work. In recent years, I’ve focused especially on caring for pastors, missionaries, and couples navigating affair recovery.
I love preaching and teaching the Scriptures, and I love sitting with people in ache, messiness, and complexity — watching the truth of the gospel and the power of healthy relational connection bring real healing and growth.
Thank you for taking the time to read some of my story. If you think I might be able to serve you or your team in some way, I’d be honored to connect.
